Shreveport, La. - Funeral services for Huey Mac Hardy, 63, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 1991 at McGuire Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, La. Interment will be at Vivian Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Merlin C. Liverman. Mr. Hardey die on Sunday, November 10, 1991 at Schumpert Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Shreveport for six years. Mrs. Hardy was born and reared in Oil City, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Naomi Hardy and two brothers, Lonnie G. and Ray E. Hardy. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Bossier City, La. Mr. Hardy was a veteran of WWII. He was a retired pipefitter and instrument technician through Pipefitters Local 190 in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 20 years and employed through Pipefitters local 211 in Houston, Texas for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Janice Liverman Hardy; a daughter, Regina Bean and husband, David Bean; daughter, Barbara Campbell and husband Jai Campbell of Kemah, Texas; son, Houston Hardy of South Bend, Ind., son, Michael Hardy and Wife, Kathy of Baycliff, Texas; two sister, Laverne Latham, Oil City, La. and Loreace Brooks, Alexandria, La; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers are Lonnie Hardy,Jr., Brian Hardy, Jack Latham, Jr, Larry Liverman, Myrl Liverman, and Michael Liverman. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Adult III Sunday School, Riverside Baptist Church, Bossier City and the men of the Strokers Club, Shreveport. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the building fund at Riverside Baptist Church, 1714 Jimmie David Hwy, Bossier City, La. 71112 or to the charity of donors choice.
