Eusebe Theriot, 36, was sent to prison for the killing of Dr D A Savant his brother-in-law who is butied in Mount Olivet Baptist Cemetery,
Whiteville, St Landry Parish. Mr Theriot was poisoned in prison & died December 13, 1898. The two men had married sisters, Eusebe married Clarrise Sturlese & Dr Savant married Rose Angelina Sturlese.
