Audrey Matlock, age 81, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 8, 2013 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Audrey was born October 18, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Milton and Wilma Atkins. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Victory Sunday School Class. Audrey had a passion for painting was a member of the Atlanta Art League and Springhill Art Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Wilma Atkins; a sister, Mary Young. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Roger Matlock of Atlanta, Texas; one son, Wayne Matlock and wife Linda of Lafayette, Louisiana, a daughter, Lisa Krueger and her husband, David of Bossier City, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Justin Bussey and fiancé Amanda Isgate, Landon Bussey and fiancé Abbie Sorenson, Mallory Semanco and husband Evan, Brian Matlock and wife Kelly Rose; one great grandson, James Roger Matlock; two nieces, Beverly Baker and husband Roy of Gueydon, Louisiana, Donna Urban and husband Rick of Opelousas, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Howard Young of Opelousas, Louisiana; sister in law, Linda Ann Matlock of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, and a number of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Hanner Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Hanner Funeral Service Chapel, Springhill, Louisiana with Rev. Guy Williams officiating. Interment will be 2:30 PM, Monday, November 11, 2013 in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, Louisiana with Rev. Guy Williams and Rev. Evan Semanco officiating.
