Roll for July & August 1861, Discharged on account of disability, September 1, 1861. Rolls from March - June, 1862, Present. (Re-enlisted March 24, 1862, Monroe.) Roll for September & October 1862, Absent, reduced from 3rd Sergeant to Private, September 15, 1862. Sick in Oglethorpe Hospital. Roll for November & December 1862, Absent, sick, in Hospital at Augusta, Georgia. Roll for January & February 1863, Present, confined in guard house. Appears on Roll of Prisoners of War, Captured at Edwards Depot, May 17, 1863 & sent to Memphis, Tennessee, May 25, 1863.
