June 24, 1803 -1868
Granddaughter of Clara Belle Young/Baggett
Married to Julien Young, second cousin September 25,1827 (Opel. Ch.).
Eiiza, (baptized Louise), also called Elisa or Eloise LeJeune, daughter of Jean Baptiste Young & Louisa Bihm - (Opel. Ch.), Eliza (now Young) married Julien LeJeune
They had the following children:
Louiza, Thomas Jefferson, Amanda, Emilie Elizabeth, Francois Stephen, Levina, Susanne, Austin, Oscar, Julian & Ezra.
It is unknown where Julien & Eliza first settled, however, eight of their twelve children were baptized in Opelousas which would indicate a residence in St Landry Parish. Apparently sometime in the early 1850's the family moved to Calcasieu Parish, in the area between Sugartown & Dry Creek, where they were shown on the census that year & in following years.
