Funeral services for Mrs Ruth Jiles, age 83, of Spearsville were held at 2 pm October 27, 2007 at Lockhart Church of Christ in Spearsville. Harold Robertson and Jim Rhodes officiated. Interment followed at Spearsville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs Jiles was born January 16, 1924 and passed away October 24, 2007. She was preceded in death by parents Stanley B West and Luvicie Telford West, brother Stanley B West Jr and sisters Ruby Black, Nell Webb and Daisy Allison.
Mrs Jiles is survived by husband Robert A Jiles, Jr of Spearsville, daughter Sarah Randolph and husband Ed, their daughter Michele Miller of Plano, Texas, sons Steve Jiles and wife Denise of Lake Charles, their children Candace, Conley, and Jake Warren and Stan Jiles and wife Jana of Bernice and their children Rachel, Rebecca, Robin, and Ryan, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday October 26, 2007 6 pm to 8 pm at Lockhart Church of Christ in Spearsville.
