Private First Class Sullivan was a member of Company A, 79th Engineer Construction Battalion, US Army. He died of other causes on July 15, 1952 near Yong-Cho-Do, South Korea. Private First Class Sullivan was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
