From Louisiana Archives ~ Barron, M L, Corporal, Private Comoany C 19th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted December 11, 1861. Camp Moore, Louisiana. Roll for May & June, 1862, "Present. Reduced to Ranks May 8, 1862, from First Corporal." Rolls from July, 1862 - Febriuary 1863, "Present." Roll for June 30 - October 31, 1863, "Absent. Wounded. On Furlough." Rolls from November 1863 - April 30, 1864, "Present." Roll for July & August 1864, "Killed in Action July 28, 1864."
