Funeral services for Conley Byron Hale, age 72, of Pioneer will be held at 10AM Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at the New Hope Church of God west of Darnell, Louisiana. Rev. Fred Hale, Rev. Todd Perry & Rev. Bob Schlemmer will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Forest Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mr. Hale died Sunday, November 16, 2003 at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Nannie Hale of Pioneer; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Roy Saucer of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Clyde Corley of Epps, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Larry Phillips of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter, Penny Hale of Pioneer; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Kevin Pruitt of Pioneer; grandson and his wife, Jason and Marcie Saucer; granddaughter and her husband, Deena and Michael Holley; granddaughter and her husband, Melinda and Kevin Russell; granddaughter, Tommie Corley; granddaughter, Tiffany Corley; grandson, B. J. Phillips; granddaughter, Chelsey Phillips; granddaughter, Macy Pruitt; grandson, Mason Pruitt; granddaughter and her husband, Kim and J. D. Manning; 4 great grandchildren, Conner Saucer, Claire Russell, Lindsay Manning and Zach Manning; brother, Eugene Hale of Pioneer; brother Billy Hale of Epps; sister, Allie Van Cleve of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Howard and Allie Irene Hale. Pallbearers are: John Goode, Prentis Hemphill, Shelton Ezell, Craig Hale, David Gardner and Adam Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are: Paul McMurray, Bill Lofton, Philip Stafford, Joseph Payne and Walter S. Hillman. Visitation will be at the New Hope Church until time of service.
