Funeral services for Glen Allen "Horseshoe" Green, age 96, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be 10AM, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Haley, Rev. Mike Ray and Rev. Kelly Coleman officiating. Interment will be in the New Forest Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 6PM - 8PM and Saturday from 9AM - 10AM at Cox Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his wife Vida Mae Green; daughter, Dorothy Green Bandi; parents, John Ellis Green and Emma Louise Green; four sisters, Mattie Points, Margie Sims, Vera Herrington, Jean Corley; four brothers, John Green, Cleo Franklin Green, William Edward Green, Marvin Green.

Glen Allen "Horseshoe" is survived by his daughters, Glenda Green Nash (Foley) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cherrie Green Bennett (Charles) of Monroe, Louisiana, Myrtle I. Green of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son, Thomas A. Green of Baytown, Texas; six grandchildren, Charles Danny Bennett of Wilmington, Ohio, Jason Bennett of Calhoun, Louisiana, Jonathan Bandi of Brunswick Hills, Ohio, Jennifer Pogue of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Robin Bandi of Cleveland, Ohio, Bobby Nash of Slidell, Louisiana; five great-grandchildren, Madi Bennett of Wilmington, Ohio, Haley Bennett of Calhoun, Louisiana, David Bennett of Calhoun, Louisiana, Logan Bandi of Brunswick Hills, Ohio, Naomi Pogue of Fredericksburg, Virginia; sister, Virginia Fambrough of Kansas City, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Colin Curtis, Josh Ward, Billy Calhoun, Lary Dean Dartlon, Jamie Jones, Daniel Herrington.
