Mrs. Hazel Coleman, 89, of Minden passed away at 11:20 p.m. September 17 in Meadowview Nursing Home following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. in the Homer Rose-Neath Chapel with Rev. James Poole of Minden officiating. Interment followed in Arlington Cementery.

Mrs. Coleman, who was of the Methodist faith, was a former resident of Homer, a homemaker and Gold Star Mother of American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, J.T. Coleman of Benton and Ray Coleman of Bossier City; three daughters, Gretchen Prince of Minden, Virginia Woodard of Delhi and Janice Holtgrave of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Thelma Robinson and Clara Corry, both of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
