HOMER, LA - Services for Mr. M.J. Camp, 82, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 18, 1994 at the First United Methodist Church in Homer. Officiating was Rev. Terry Willis, assisted by Rev. Ed Parks. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.
Mr. Camp died Wednesday, February 16, 1994 at the Homer Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was a retired general superintendent for Claiborne Electric, a very active member of the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Claiborne Parish School Board for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Frye Camp of Homer; son and daughter-in-law, Charles B. and Rolene Byars Camp of Minden; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Camp of West Monroe, Joan C. and Edward L. Bolling of Homer, Dorothy Faye and John R. Thomas of Ala Mogordo, New Mexico; one sister, Maggie Chandler of Homer; one brother, B.H. Camp of Minden; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Daniel Judson Moore, Roland Camp, David Camp, Eddie Bolling, Billy Frye and Steve Boyett.
