John Edwards, 64, of Noble, died Saturday, Dec. 10, in the P & S Hospital in Shreveport, after a long illness. Funeral services were held in Noble Baptist Church, Sunday, Dec. 11, with the Rev. Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. John Edwards; one son, John Louis Edwards; one daughter, Mrs. John B. Lamb; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Buckley, and Mrs. Hoyt Cassel; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Marvin Buckley, Roy Buckley, James Buckley, Mack Edwards, and Ray Pass Jr.
