From Louisiana Archives ~ Carroll, B F, Private Company I 6th Louisiana Cavalry. Enlisted February 19, 186_, Alexandria, Louisiana Roll dated February 20, 1864, Absent. Furloughed until February 20th. On Register of Prisoners of War belonging to the Rebel Army in custody of Provost Marshal, Memphis, Tennessee, sent from Gaines Landing, February 12,1865. Sent to Vicksburg for exchange March 12, 1865. Paroled at Alexandria, Louisiana, June 13, 1865. Residence St Landry Parish, Louisiana.
