Funeral rites for Nancy Carolyn Alford, age 20 years, were held Thursday evening at 3 p.m. from the First Baptist church of Many….Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral home. Surviving are the parents Mr. and Mrs. [William] Roy Alford of Many and a host of relatives and friends.
Nancy Carolyn, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alford passed away Tuesday night at p.m. after a long illness at Sabine Clinic at Zwolle. She was a graduate in the spring class of Northwestern, graduate of Many High School, member of the First Baptist Church of Many and was a member of the Sigma Upsilom sorority. The entire parish joins in sympathy and condolences for Mr. and Mrs. Alford in the bereavement
