Present on All Rolls to April, 1863. Absent on All Rolls from June, 1863 - December, 1863, from Wounds received at Winchester, Virginia, June 4, 1863. Roll for January & February 1864. "Absent on Furlough Since January 12, 1864." Roll for April 30 - August 31, 1864, "Absent, Wounded." Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War Captured at Jordan Springs, Virginia, July 26, 1863, Paroled at Jordan Springs August 2, 1863. Record Copied from Memorial Hall by the War Department June, 1903, "Born Louisiana. Occupation, Farmer. Residence Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Age, 30. Single. Leg Amputated from Wound Received June 14, 1863. Reenlisted December 11, 1861."
