William Pink Miller, 60, died Thursday in his home in Rayville, La. He was born April 23, 1905 in Union Parish, La. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Mae Miller of Rayville; two sons, Preston Miller of Holly Ridge, La., and James Miller of Archibald, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Branch of Holly Ridge, and Mrs. Eugene Coonce of Archibald; two brothers, A. K. Miller of Archibald, and Charlie Miller of Ellenwood, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. H. C. Burdin of Holly Ridge, Mrs. J. W. LaBeff of Spearsville, La., and Mrs. C. B. Perdue of El Dorado; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saaturday at the Mount Union Church at Spearsville with the Rev. Avoid LaBeff of El Dorado and the Rev. Perry Ramsey of Mt. Union officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Union Cemetery under the direction of Rayville Funeral Service. The body will lie in state at the home of Mrs. H. C. Burdin at Holly Ridge until 11 a.m. Saturday at which time it will be moved to the Mount Union Church where it will remain until funeral time. (The El Dorado Times - November 12, 1965)
