Hubert Andrew McFarlin, better known as H.A., minister, pastor, father, grandfather, born July 8, 1920 to L.A. & Sarah McFarlin in Elmore City, OK departed this life May 4, 2013 at the age of 92. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Oil City United Pentecostal Church in Oil City, LA with Rev. Jerry Dean officiating, assisted by Rev. Kent Rhoads, Rev. Mike McFarlin, and Rev. Andy McFarlin. Interment will follow in Mooringsport Memorial Gardens in Mooringsport, LA under the direction of Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday May 6, 2013 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Ann, and his lovely bride of 67 years, Juanita. He is survived by one brother & wife: Hulen & Barbara McFarlin, 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne & Lola McFarlin and Mike & Debbie McFarlin, 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, 4 churchs and a host of spiritual children. Although his ministry was primarily based in Texas and Louisiana, his life touched people spread across this nation and his influence reached overseas. He will be sorely missed, but is at peace, reunited with his beloved wife and daughter. Pallbearers will be Jon Cypert, Ernest Sonny Furgeison, Mark Gilbert, Andy McFarlin, Mark McFarlin, and Danny Young.
