Pfc. Jason R. Watson died in Afghanistan of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
