October 16, 1914 - June 11, 1967
Fred Warren Futch, of 1956 Avon Ave. SW died suddenly early Sunday morning at his home. Mr. Futch was a pipefitter, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Machinist local of Camden. He had lived in Camden for the past twenty years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Louise Hollingsworth Futch; two sons, Fred Lynn Futch, and Mickey Warren Futch both of Camden; two brothers, George A. Futch of Baton Rouge, La., and J. R. Futch of Spearsville, La.; five sisters, Mrs. E. E. Elliott of Leola, Mrs. Myrtis McCorquodale of Las Vegas, Nevada, Miss Nell Futch of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Jean Kidman and Miss Sally Lou Futch both of California. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday (today) at the Mt. Union Baptist Church near Spearsville, La. Burial was in the Mt. Union cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - June 12, 1967)
