November 15, 1891 - June 4, 1968
William Abe Henderson, 76, of Spearsville, La., died Tuesday night in a Bernice, La. hospital. Mr. Henderson was a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons, Grady Henderson of Bee Branch, Ark., Risinger Henderson of Houston, Tex., and Billy Henderson of Dubach, La.; one daughter, Mrs. A. A. Barrett of El Dorado; a brother, Thomas Henderson of Felsenthal; two sisters, Mrs. V. E. Dudley of Spearsville and Mrs. Sally Upshaw of Minden, La.; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Union Baptist Church near Spearsville at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Forest Post officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Ruston. (El Dorado Times - June 5, 1968)
