Jeremiah Michael Cox was born April 22, 2000, in Monroe, Louisiana, to John Thomas and Shalonda Michelle Cox.
He was raised from age one to eighteen by his aunt and uncle, Theresa and Roy Cox, of West Monroe.
He attended West Monroe High School. He was a member of the Turning Point Outreach Ministries.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his uncle who raised him, Roy Cox.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his aunt who raised him, Theresa Cox of West Monroe, Louisiana; a daughter, Zy’liah; mother, Shalonda M. Cox of Bossier City, Louisiana; father, John Michael Thomas, Sr. (Brenda Chargois-Thomas) of New Iberia, Louisiana; grandmother, Peggy Thomas of Jeanerette, Louisiana, and stepgrandfather, Leroy Burks; sisters, Kelly Thomas, Jonika James, Tanesha Thomas, Jemekia, Kumesha, Towaski, Mahogany and Katerine Cox; and brothers, John M. Thomas, Jr., Jonathan Cox, Tartino Hogg, Calap Thomas, Ayanda and DeVonata Anding; as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
