Albertine Willis of Monroe, Louisiana passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021. A memorial service to celebrate her life was held Thursday, September 30, 2021. Albertine attended school in the Ouachita Parish School System where she graduated from Richwood High School. She also attended Grambling State University and graduated in Elementary Education in 1979, received her Master of Science Degree in 1984, and a Master’s Plus 30 in Education. After retiring from the Monroe City School System as an Educator, Albertine devoted much time to serving youth through Pathfinder Outreach Program and Ouachita Business and Career Solutions Center. She was also known for her creative and decorative skills, where she showed her creative abilities from sewing to decorating various events. In appreciation, the family of Albertine Willis wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, kindness, support, phone calls, and texts shown during this time of bereavement. A special thanks to those that played a part in providing love, care, and health care support to Albertine during our time of special need.
