March 16, 1929 - July 22, 2016
SHREVEPORT, LA- Services celebrating the life of Orest Lanclos, 87, will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 12 noon Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Waskom, TX. Entombment will follow services at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Joby Thomas. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the church prior to services.
Orest was born on March 16, 1929 in Carencro, LA to Elie Lanclos and Angeline Noel Lanclos and passed away on July 22, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. He was an avid rancher and took pride in being known as "The Hayman".
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Merlin and Irvin Lanclos; two sisters, Rosabell Castile and Jane Bellard; and son, Oran Lanclos. Left to cherish Orest's memory is his wife of 52 years Artie Janiet Lanclos; sons Byron Lanclos and wife Sharon, Anthony Lanclos and wife Schannon; daughters, Sandra Warhol, Kayla Bixby and husband Sam; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Honoring as pallbearers will be Byron Lanclos, Anthony Lanclos, Trevor Deal, Mason Deal, Matt Westmoreland, and Danny Lanclos.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tommy Brown, Dr. Melissa Lynn, Dr. Joseph Jones, and Dr. David Dies.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to American Heart Association, American Kidney Association, American Diabetes Association, and St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
