March 1, 1999 - July 6, 2022
Basheen Jeamel Hutcherson, Jr., was born March 1, 1999, to Basheen Hutcherson, Sr., and Terri Ethridge in Monroe, LA. Basheen was given the nickname “BoBo” by his sister Basheenia.
Basheen attended Trenton Baptist Church at a young age.
Basheen attended Ouachita Parish school system during his school years. He graduated high school with the Class of 2018 of Richwood High School. He also attended Arkansas Baptist College and Louisiana Delta Community College.
Basheen became involved in basketball and football at the tender age of five years old – on the basketball court as a point guard, on the football field as a punter, kicker, safety, and receiver. His love for sports eventually led him to being a key player at Richwood Middle and Richwood High School, Home of the Mighty Rams. Basheen became a part of the school’s history in 2017, playing in the Louisiana High School Championship game along with his fellow teammates.
Basheen was a well-known young man with the brightest, most angelic smile. A smile that couldn’t be faded. He was a very gregarious young man, loved by everyone he came in contact with. To some, he was called “Bo,” “Bo Jizzle,” and “130.”
Basheen’s journey came to an end July 6, 2022, but he memories will forever live on through us all.
