SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of Brian Todd Linder, 36, will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. A vigil will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a visitation until 7:00 p.m. Officiating will be Monsignor Earl Provenza. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue.
Brian was born July 10, 1975 in Shreveport, LA and passed away June 3, 2012. He lived a "full" life by any standard before succumbing to a lengthy but courageous battle to brain cancer. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle as well as a good friend.
Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Shelby and Corine Linder, maternal grandfather, Joe Maniscalco and his great aunt and godmother, Virginia Hester.
Left to cherish his beautiful memories, are his wife of six years, Corinne Linder; his children, Brian Linder, Jr., Sequoia Brooks, Royce Linder, and Kaden Linder; his parents, Jack and Suzie Linder; sister, Angie Walker and husband, Greg; brothers, Andy Linder and wife, Chrissy; Jack Linder and Evan Linder and wife, Cathy;maternal grandmother, Frances Maniscalco, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Joseph's Hospice, and Dr. Anthony Sin for their devoted and special care to Brian.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 550, Chicago, IL 60631, or ABTA.org, or to the charity of choice.
