Funeral services for Mr. Ronny Ray Boler of West Monroe, LA will be 11:30am Friday, September 2, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe with Phillip Smith and Paul Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Boler was born October 16, 1945 in Vicksburg, MS and passed from this life on August 31, 2016 in Bastrop, LA at the age of 70. He was employed as the food and beverage director for the Monroe Civic Center. He was also the umpire director of Biedenharn Baseball field for many years and a lifetime member of Trenton St. Golf Course.
He is preceded in death by his son, Cade Boler; mother, Judy Bennett; his aunt and uncle who raised him, Archie and Willie Gray Boler; one brother, Craig Bennett and one sister, Kay Meazel.
Survivors include his wife, Elayne Boler of West Monroe; one son, Cass Boler of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Rhonda Williams and husband, Steve and Toni Boler; two grandsons, Houston Williams and Zackary Cox; two granddaughters, Jessica Cox and Abigail Cox; four step-children, Dee Becton, Robyn Becton, Sharron Carter and husband, Hugh, Alisha Cobb and husband Johnny; one sister, Shelia Dortch; one brother, Scotty Bennett; also survived by seven step-grandchildren, and a host of special cousins, extended family and friends.
