Private Family Graveside Services for Mr. George Lee DeCuir. 87, of Monroe, LA, will be held Wednesday, April 01, 2020, at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Betty Swanson officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
Mr. DeCuir was born March 30, 1932, in West Monroe, LA and passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at his residence in Monroe, LA. George was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Columbia Chemical Company as a research chemist.
Mr. DeCuir was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine DeCuir; brother, Chester DeCuir; and sister, Cora MetCalf
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn DeCuir and Nancy Jones; niece, Diane DeCuir Smith; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
