A loving companion & best friend for twenty-five years

HAUGHTON, LA - Celebration of life service for Liz will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park, West, Shreveport, LA. Bro. Corky Puckett will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Liz was born on June 29, 1944 to proud and loving parents, Lucille and Clifton Greer. Liz's love for her work led to her being a successful New Car Sales Person with Harter Lincoln/Roundtree for thirty years. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking and maintaining their beautiful home.

Liz leaves the love of her life and companion for 25 years, Tommy Lord; brother, C.W. Greer, Jr. and wife Charlotte; sister, Jeanette Owens; nieces, Janet McFerren Veuleman and husband Eric and Robin Greer Rhoads and husband Ronnie; nephews, Jeff McFerren, Todd Greer and wife Trish; great nieces and nephews,

Madeleine, Victoria and Kassidy Greer, Landon and Logan Rhoads and Tyler McFerren.

Pallbearers will be Todd Greer, Jeff McFerren, Ronnie Rhoads, David Greer, Kelvin Greer and J.J. Carr.

The family would like to extend special thanks for the flowers, cards, prayers and kind words. We especially thank the critical care unit, staff at Willis Knighton-Bossier, the employees at Cafe 171 and the Bossier Fire Dept, Unit 1, Haughton, LA.
