December 4, 1930 - December 15, 2020
On December 15, 2020, Dr. Francis E. Brown, surrounded by his wife of 67 years and his family, having finished the work he had to do on earth, was called into the presence of the Christ he loved.
He is survived by Twyla Clark Brown, his wife of 67 years; son Dr. Stephen Brown and wife Dr. Tracy Robertson Brown of Davis, CA; daughter Beverly Brown Morriss and husband Dr. Michael Craig Morriss of Flower Mound, TX; daughter Mistina Brown Stephan and husband David Stephan of Richardson, TX; Grandchildren: Matthew, Marshall, Emily, Zachary, and Lucas Brown; Michael, Grace (Morriss) Bush, Peter, and Hope Morriss; Alexander Stephan; Great Granddaughters: Daphne and Elise Morriss; Great Grandsons: Luke and Timothy Bush; Brother: Robert H. Brown and wife Sue Sandlin Brown of Georgetown, TX; sister-in-law Beverly Porche and husband John Porche; nephews: Randy Brown, Dr. Michael Brown, Dr. Brandon Brown; nieces: Judy Wright, Barbara Knutson, Felicia Aguillard, Jennifer Castle, Julianna Porche, and Britten Huyck; and other relatives.
His work spanned all aspects of the polymer industry with Gulf Oil Corporation and then Pennzoil Corporation.
Graveside Services will be held in Shreveport, LA at 12 Noon on Friday, December 18th at Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent's Ave by Rev. Dr. Pat Day, Pastor of First United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19th at Countryside Bible Church, 250 Countryside Court, Southlake, TX by Pastor Dusty Burris.
