Funeral services for Lester Allen Doss, Sr., will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach, Louisiana. Bro. Connie Smith and Bro. Walt Brown will be officiating. Interment will be at Fellowship Cemetery immediately following the service under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, Louisiana. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2002, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach.
Lester was born March 12, 1941, in Bastrop, Louisiana and passed away February 7, 2022, in Dubach, Louisiana. He enjoyed woodworking and metal detecting as hobbies. He was formerly a member of the Volunteer Fire Department and was an employee of the Simsboro Glass Plant for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Doss; children, Lester Allen Doss, Jr., and Amy Jo Doss Ward and husband T.J.; grandsons, Eric Allen Doss and wife Kaitlin, Dylan Kendall Doss and wife Kassidy, Thomas Hunter Ward, and Benjamin Blake Ward; sister Betty Ann Colvin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Barham, Robert Barham, Jr., Chris Dotson, Rush Griffith, Shawn Griffith, and Henry Watts. Honorary pallbearer will be Lawson Brown.
