Shreveport, LA - Memorial services for Ronald Earl Scroggins, 66, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel in Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Earl was born on May 31, 1952 in Memphis, TN to John Winford and Madeline Frances Lee Scroggins and passed away on January 25, 2019. He was a 1970 graduate of Fair Park High School. Earl worked as a machinist for Libbey Glass for 34 years. He loved to hunt and fish and never missed a Wednesday night episode of his favorite show, Survivor. He will be remembered fondly for his kind and quiet personality and also for his mischievous sense of humor. He was a lifelong member of the Whitetail Hunting Club and enjoyed spending his time at the clubhouse with his hunting buddies whenever he could.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, John and Madeline Scroggins and his sister, Lesa Gray. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa Scroggins; daughter, Valerie Branton and husband Jeremie; granddaughters, Madeline and Marilyn Branton; brothers, Donald (Butch) Scroggins and wife Barbara, John (Chuck) Scroggins and wife Katy, Sonny Scroggins and wife Liz, Rickey Scroggins and wife Donna; sister, Rita Meissner; step-son, Randy Thompson and wife Mary Beth and their children.
