March 18, 1823 - September 4, 1907
He enlisted December 24, 1863, at Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Company Muster Rolls for December 24, 1863 - February 29, 1864, listed him as absent without leave. His name appeared on a Roll of Prisoners of War after Confederate forces surrendered in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 26, 1865. The roll showed he was paroled in Natchitoches, Louisiana on June 13, 1865. His name appeared on second Roll of Prisoners of War after the surrender in New Orleans with a listed parole in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 7, 1865.
