Company E 11 Battalion Louisiana Infantry
Civil War Confederate
February 14, 1839 - September 19, 1907
He enlisted on May 14, 1862, in Many, Louisiana and was assigned to Company E, 11th Battalion Louisiana Infantry. On November 3, 1863, the 11th Battalion Louisiana Infantry was merged with the 16th Battalion Louisiana Infantry and the Crescent Regiment Louisiana Infantry to form the Consolidated Crescent Regiment Louisiana Infantry. He was assigned to Company D. He was furloughed on February 12, 1864, for thirty days. His name appeared on a Roll of Prisoners of War after Confederate forces surrendered in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 26, 1865. He was paroled in Natchitoches, Louisiana on June 8, 1865.
