Thelma Faye Ainsworth Pace, age 91, of Jena, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009. She was born to James Franklin and Melissa McClendon Ainsworth April 6, 1918 in Summer- ville, Louisiana. Mrs Pace is survived by a daughter, Nadia F Pace Ferrington & husband James of Jena; son, Howard R Pace & wife Virginia of Lumberton, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus J Pace; her parents; daughter, Ada F Pace; son, Billy R Pace; sisters Gertrude Davis, Nadie Zeagler, & Clodie Labespere; brothers, Elisha Ainsworth, Roy Ainsworth, Steve Ainsworth, Baxter Ainsworth & Fred Ainsworth. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2009 and from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2009. Funeral service will be in the chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2009. Mrs. Pace will be laid to rest in the Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Summerville, Louisiana.
