From Louisiana Archives ~ Doiron, Theodore (also Duiron, T), Private Sergeant Company H 4 Louiaiana Infantry. Enlisted May 25, 1861, Tangipahoa, Louisiana. Present on all Rolls to June, 1863. Rolls July to December, 1863, Absent. Wounded at Jackson, July 13, 1863, in Hospital at Lauderdale Springs. Promoted to 4th Sergeant, October 14. 1863. Roll May - September, 1864, Present. Disabled from duty by wound received. at Jackson, Mississippi. Roll August 31, 1864 - February 28, 1865, Absent. Wounded at Jackson, Mississippi in left hand.
