Jesse Wallace Jr, 93, of Waldo, Arkansas died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Jesse was born September 1, 1923 in De Graff, Ohio and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a truck driver for Northwest Transportation. He proudly served The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed his work as a missionary leader.

He was preceded in death by parents Jesse Rhon Wallace, Sr and Bertha Mae Harr Wallace; first wife Mary Lou Beavers Wallace; infant daughter Jackie Rhonda Wallace; stepson Lewis Butch Jones; son-in-law Richard Kimbell and brother and sister-in-law Dave and Janet Wallace.

Jesse is survived by wife Sylvia Wallace of Waldo; son Steve Wallace and wife Carole of Eaton, Colorado; daughters Nancy Richardson and husband Terry of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Tresa Holt and husband Charles of Magnolia, Vickie Crowley and husband Curtis of Irving, Texas, Tammy Parrish and husband Allan of Arkansas City, Kansas; stepdaughter Rebecca Kimbell of Magnolia; stepson Mike Jones and wife Karen of Magnolia; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Interment of cremains will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
