Memorial Services celebrating the life of Ronald David Fournet, 57, will be conducted on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church, 111 Oak Drive St. Martinville, LA. Visitation will begin at 9 am with religious services at 2 pm.

Ronald Ronnie David Fournet was born in in St. Martinville, LA on May 11, 1958 to Dr. Kenneth and Elsie Cooper Fournet. He passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 7, 2016 with his endearing family by his side.

Ronnie, as he was known to family and close friends graduated from St. Martin Academy in St. Martinville, LA. He was a Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance for 20 years and a Manager with Radio Shack.

Ronnie was of the Baptist faith and was a former member of Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing computer games.

His off the wall humor will be missed.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Lucille Karen Domingue Fournet, daughters Kayla Marie Fournet, Shannon Nicole Fournet, Sara Lynn Fournet and Victoria Smith-Patno; parents Dr. Kenneth Leon Fournet Sr. and Patricia Sibley Fournet; siblings Renee Richter, Carrie Curet, Kenneth Fournet Jr., Cheryl Lambert, Dr. Timothy Fournet and Susan Fournet and grandchildren Gage Fournet, Sydni Fournet and Roland Smith-Patno.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Cooper Fournet; daughter Ashley Renee Fournet, and his sister Cynthia Moore.
