April, 1862, Present. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, Captured Harrisonburg, June 6, 1862. Paroled at Winchester, Virginia, June, 1862. Age 18 years, height 5 feet 11 inches. Sent from Fort Delaware, Delaware, to Aiken's Landing, Virginia, August 5, 1862 and exchanged. Rolls from August, 1862 to February, 1863, Present. Rolls from February 28, 1863 to November 3, 1864, Absent at Louisiana Hospital. Wounded at Fredericksburg, May 4, 1863. Now at Lynchburg. Record copied from Memorial Hall, New Orleans, Louisiana, by the War Department, Washington. D C, May, 1903, Born Louisiana, occupation farmer, age when enlisted 17, single, Residence St Martin Parish, Louisiana. Severely wounded in leg May 4, 1863. On retired list
since January 1, 1865.
