Funeral services for Gertha M. Frost Arrant will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Ray Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Hwy 34 West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Gertha was born July 15, 1932 and passed away February 13, 2017. She loved her family, loved to cook and fish and loved her extended family at Ridgecrest Community Care Center. Gertha was preceded in death by husband R B Arrant; sisters, Orene, Magdalene and brother Cecil.Gertha is survived by two daughters, Susie and husband Glenn Allen, Cathey and husband Charles Barfoot; son, Richard and Tammy Arrant; 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters; Mertice Lee, Marie Howard, and Elise Carow; brother, Milton Frost.Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.In lieu of flowers please make donations to Pleasant Hill Church, 601 Hwy 34, West Monroe, LA 71292.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
