Charles Benard Gorman Sr., an accountant of West Monroe, LA was born to the union of Rosa and Wesley Gorman on November 16, 1927 in Plain Dealing, LA and passed away from this life on April 10, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He also served in the U. S. Army.
Funeral services will be 3:00p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Josh Milliron officiating and Chris McClainVisitation will be Saturday 1:30p.m.-3:00p.m. before services. Burial will follow services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Rosa Gorman; sister, Margaret Bellar; brothers, Bobby Gorman; and Jack Gorman.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mattie Gorman of West Monroe, LA; children, Annelouise Bonnette and husband Bruce of West Monroe, LA; Charles B. Gorman Jr. and wife Kim of Boyle. MS; sister, Patsy Reeks of Shreveport; grandchildren, Amber Kimble and husband Josh, Heather Smith and husband Andy; Daniel Bonnette and wife Amy; Charles Alan Gorman; Jordan Gorman; great-grandchild, Connor Kimble. Also survived by a host of family and friends.
Pallberers will be Charles Alan Gorman, Daniel Bonnette, Andy Smith, Josh Kimble, David Gardner, and Gary Patrick.
