Ulyesse is survived by Children: Hebert Batiste (Dorothy), Norman Batiste (Jennifer), Robert Batiste, Richard Batiste, David Batiste (Sylvia), Elizabeth Williams, Beverly Williams, Kenneth Williams, Stacey Barras, Ulyesse Barras (Amber), Leona Williams, Robert Williams, Sisters: Ida Alexander, Patsy Derouselle (Donald); Laresia Thibodeaux, Joseph “JoJo" Thibodeaux (Emily), Gussie Taylor, Yvonne Thibeaux Valley (Francis), John Skipper; Host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Ulyesse was preceded in death by Mother - Augustine Batiste Mitchell, (Raised by Amay Celestine); Dad - Alton Batiste Sr.; Daughter: Betty Babineaux; Son: Ulyesse Batiste, Jr.; Sisters: Nola Batiste, Hilda Batiste and Nanette Thibodeaux, Maryann Thibodeaux, Vivian Alexander, Sharon. Skipper, Annabelle Roberts. Brother: Clement Davis, Brother; Elton Thibodeaux, Jr., Milton Celestine Sr., Son: Russell, Williams.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed between 8:30am to 10:00am at Kinchen Funeral Home.
