BREAUX BRIDGE – Services will be conducted for Mrs. Elizabeth Ledet, 90, the former Elizabeth Robert, at 12 p.m. at Lighthouse of Living Waters, with pastor Frank Wells officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis Assissi Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Golden Meadows Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday and will resume at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday.
A native and lifelong of Breaux Bridge, She passed at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in Lafayette.
Sons: Herman Ledet, Malcolm Ledet, Horace Ledet, Roland Ledet, Junius Ledet, Gilbert Ledet, Darrel Ledet and Rene Ledet (stepson).
Daughters: Sylvia Francis, Rose Ledet, Romona Ledet, Indiana Ledet (stepdaughter) and Marie Francis (stepdaughter)
She was preceded in death by Clement Robert and Florence Benjamin Robert, her parents; husband, Percy Ledet Sr.; two sisters Caroline Ambrose and Velma Ambrose; and one brother and her sons Joseph Ledet, Percy Ledet Jr. and Floyd Ledet; and Mary Alice Ledet (stepdaughter).
The Golden Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
