Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge for Hilton Itaya Noel, 22, who died on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Daniel Bastianelli will officiate at the funeral service.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Hilton was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Jr. Knights. He enjoyed all sports and played 3rd Base with the Survivors Softball team. Hilton loved playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his father, Hilton Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; mother and step father, Edna Marie Noel and Clarence Lee; his fiance, Tameshia Noel; daughter, Hailee Noel; step daughter, Ashanti Brown; his brother, Damon Noel; his sister, Shenequa Noel; maternal grandfather, Clausey Noel, Sr.; and his step maternal grandfather, Frank Davis, Jr., all of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Eva Dell Thibodeaux; maternal grandmother, Mildred Noel; paternal step grandparents, Sidney and Margaret Lee; his aunt and uncle, Rita and Chris Robertson, Sr.; and his cousin, Keylon Hawkins.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Pallbearers will be Clausey Hawkins, Chris Robertson, Coddie Noel, John Michael Baltazar, Jr., Curtis Ledet, Jr., and Ricky Wray.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clausey Noel, Jr., Damon Noel, Frank Noel, Sr., John Lambert, Donald Benoit, Jr., Reginald Boutte, Jr., John Sassau, Jr., Jessie Noel, Dennis Smith, Casey Guidry, and Bradie Lee.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
