Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Coleska J Joseph, 68, who died March 28, 2017 at his residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Services will be conducted by Fr. Joseph Campion, SSJ.

Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley F Joseph. Shirley and Coleska share an enduring love and friendship that began in first grade. Together they pursued many adventures and hobbies. For Coleska, it was golf, fishing, landscaping, health and fitness and collecting art and antiques. Coleska also took great pleasure and pride in his work, having made great contributions and had a stellar career at BP, where he retired in 2004. He loved his family and friends deeply and leaves to cherish his memory brothers, John “Zick” (Brenda) Joseph of Denton, Texas and Randy (Debra) Joseph of Marietta, Georgia; sisters, Dr Dianna (Joseph) Perkins of Lafayette, Louisiana and Linda (Bryant) Guidry of Snellville, Georgia; three godchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeannette and Albert P Joseph; brothers Clyde and Carter Joseph; paternal grandparents Eva and Emmit Joseph and maternal grandparents, Marie and Willie Fontenette.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am.
