December 24, 1874 - February 19, 1940
Funeral services for F A Pino, 65, of 2522 Portland avenue, one of two men stricken with sudden illness while watching professional wrestling matches in the city auditorium Monday night, will be held at 10:30 am today in the McCook brothers funeral home. The Rev Mr Goody, pastor of Laurel Street Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery. Pallbearers will be M J Hodges, J B Harris, Hollis Bain, Jr, Earl Endel, Jim Edmonds and A C Skeels. Mr Pino is survived by his widow, sons, I W Pino of Shreveport; Paul, Sewall, Wilton and Albert Pino, all of Baton Rouge and daughters Mrs Willemeta Arnold and Mrs Louise Arnold both of Baton Rouge, and sister, Mrs E Gothier of Baton Rouge. Mr Pino was stricken with a heart attack while watching the wrestling matches at the city auditorium Monday night. He died a short while later in a hospital here.
