Lee Judson Bellue, 51, native of Baton Rouge and resident of Central, passed away at his home Sunday, February 8, 2015, surrounded by family after a courageous three year battle with cancer. He was a loving, devoted husband to Maria Bernard Bellue for 23 years and a loving, patient father to their son Lane Michael Bellue, age 12. Lee is also survived by his mother Marcella Pettitjean Bellue; sisters Myrtie Bellue Drouet and husband Clifford Drouet, Fran Bellue Mullins and husband William Mullins and Becky Bellue; brother Rusty Bellue, Jr and wife Karen Iglesias Bellue; nieces and nephews Clifford Drouet, Jr, Ellen Drouet Buckner, Victoria Drouet Pratt, Clair Drouet Kakuska, Margaret and Grace Drouet, Rusti Marie and Joseph Bellue, Page and Carolyn Mullins, Logan and Devin Maurello, Mallory and Grace O'Brien, Luke and Holly Bernard and grand nieces and nephews, Mally and Kennan Drouet, Evelyn and Davis Buckner, Stone Pratt and James Kakuska. He was active in Boy Scouts, graduated from Broadmoor High School and received a diploma in Industrial Machine Shop from Louisiana Technical College-Baton Rouge Campus. Lee worked in jewelry repair and furniture repair before settling into an audio-video career. After working in the field for several years, he started a successful company, Specialized Audio Video, LLC. He was very appreciative for all his clients and friends who made his success possible. Lee had a unique gift and capability to master anything electrical, mechanical, automotive and audio-visual. Many thought of him as a "MacGyver". Lee loved his dogs, riding dirt bikes, building his "Bad Apple" race car, riding horses with his wife, hanging out with friends by the fire in his outdoor kitchen. But his favorite thing to do was creating and building projects with Lane in his workshop. As a natural leader, he will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Lee's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr Vince Cataldo, Dr Kirk Mullins and Dr John Bolton for their care and compassion during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or St Jude Children's Rearch Hospital.
