Taken prisoner in Kentucky September 24, 1862. Rolls from January 1863 - April 1864, Present. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, Captured at Atlanta, Georgia August 5, 1864. Sent to Military Prison. Louisville, Kentucky from Nashville, Tennessee, Aug. 12, 1864. Paroled at Camp Chase, Ohio, August 13, 1864. Paroled at Camp Chase, Ohio, Feb. 12, 1865. Recd. at Boulwares & Cox's Wharf, James River, Virginia, February 20 & 21, 1865, & exchanged, Age 20, complexion fair, eyes blue, hair light, height 5 ft 5 in, born Wilkinson County, Mississippi, occupation farmer.
