Randy died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Mid-City. He was a native of Plaquemine, age 58. He served as Drum Major for Plaquemine High Class of 1974 and was an electrician by trade. He is survived by sons Randy Dennis Smith and Allen Michael Smith of Plaquemine; grandchild Malik Bouie; sisters his twin Sandra (Matthews) Butler of Plaquemine, Maureen (Oliver) Martin of Port Allen, Marline Lawrence (Robert) of Baker, Odessa Artwine of Oakland, California and Maude Ann (Tommy) Nelson of New Orleans, brothers Burnell Jordan, Sr, of Plaquemine, Rudy Jordan of Baton Rouge, Louis Elmo (Mercie) Jordan of Plaquemine, and Russell Carline of Alexandria, Louisiana; uncles Isreal Smith, Sr of Plaquemine and Jimmy Smith of Los Angeles, California; caretaker Mary Ann Richardson and family of Plaquemine and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him.
