Killed In Action
He enlisted on April 21, 1862, in Alexandria, Louisiana. On February 3, 1863, he was on detached service with the Pioneer Corps and returned to his company in May 1863. On September 20, 1863, he was killed during the Battle of Chickamauga, Georgia. Unofficial reports suggest he is buried in Tennessee.
